Fall of the Aztec Empire; Opinion on L.A. city design

The Aztec Empire mainly fell because of the Spanish attacks. The head of the attacks, Hernando Cortes, cut down the Aztecs' water supply. Many of the Aztecs died because of dehydration. In addition, another reason was the spread of smallpox.

Los Angeles has city design that doesn't always work out well. I think our city needs more improvement on street design because some of the streets are narrow and too small. This can cause traffic, so having wider streets can have a better chance to prevent that because there is more room for drive through.

Narrative of Living in the Mayan Empire

Being a slave in the Mayan Empire is very difficult. We were not always treated poorly, but don't get on your master's bad side. For instance, my good friend Ben was beaten just for talking to a fellow slave while working. I don't understand what why is that a big deal.

Most slaves wish that they were nobles and priests. I don't blame them at all. One, they get to wear whatever they like. And they are the only people who have the ability to read and write.I also hear others talking about that they believe that there's a chance us slaves will be set free. But, I'm not buying it. No one should be expecting to get any special treatment when you are a slave.

Aztec slaves and prison labor in U.S.

I think that we should use our prisoners in a way that is no where near cruel as the Aztecs. The Aztecs believed that killing their prisoners helped keep their empire going, but it was wasn't.

I believe that the U.S. should not have prison labor. Because how can a prisoner get a job when he/she messed up that chance by getting themselves incarcerated. They just don't deserve that opportunity.
